Fiscal Year 2025 marked the second year of implementing the Digital Development Partnership (DDP) 2.0. The grant portfolio supported the Trust Fund’s core areas and priority themes and aligned with the World Bank Group’s new Digital Strategy, reflecting DDP 2.0’s comprehensive ecosystem approach. This Annual Review presents progress achieved through the DDP grant portfolio and highlights results from funded activities. It also summarizes expected outcomes from lending operations approved by the World Bank Board in FY25 whose identification, design, and preparation benefited from DDP-supported deliverables, as well as results and expected results from lending operations whose implementation is supported by DDP grants. As of June 30, 2025, DDP supported 79 countries (52 of which are IDA and/or FCV) and engaged with nearly 800 stakeholders. Through DDP funding, 93 reports were delivered; 37 policies, regulations, laws, or strategies were informed; and 22 reforms were adopted. A total of 17 World Bank projects, whose design were informed by DDP grants and with relevant components cumulatively worth 1.5 billion dollars, aim to facilitate private investment, expand the use of new, inferred, and enhanced connectivity, scale digitally enabled services, and create new jobs in the digital sector.
